Bandung Bondowoso

A brave knight is coming
Bondowoso, the prince, the son of Pengging
He break the cruel giant’s rebel
In the terrible battle

Thebattle kill thousands soul
And end when Bandung stab his kris to Prabu Boko
The empire of enemi’s keraton
Which rebel his keraton, pengging

“Hah.. hah… hah…”, Bandung laughed as his enemy killed
He is happy but becomes conceited
“ I’ll go to Boko’s keraton”
“it will become mine”


A beautiful lady sits sorrowfully
She mourns herself for the destiny
Would be lonely for her father die
“Now I’ll be lonely forever” She cries

Bandung comes to Boko’s keraton
See the princes of Boko
Standing still, feel desire to own

“Jonggrang, princes of Boko, I come for you here” Bondowoso says
“Kill me, if you wanna the power of my father’s keraton”jonggrang cries
“ I have got it now, without kill you”
This power becomes mine since your father die”
And I’ll let you life to become my wife”

Jonggrang has nothing in mind for no one will help her
Can’t think how to do because of theBondowoso’s power
She will become wife of the killer of his father
Now, she only need god for prayer

“You will not have me, Bondowoso, I won’t marry you”
“You will, you can’t do anything
I’m the prince, I can do everything with my power
Choose your people die or you will be mine”

I’ll if you can give what I want
Give me 1000 temples in a night only
If you can’t
Never ask me to be yours

I’ll do what you want lady
Only 1000 temples is easy
Even you wanna ask those stars
I’ll give them to you

Night is falling
Bandung start working
With all of friend, genies helping
Creating 1000 temples before dawn is coming

Roro becomes confused
Never thought will marry a guy
A guy who makes her father die
She is the only who can help herself

“ Bondowoso will complete the temples”
I’ve to fail him
He pray to God ll night
To get some elevation

Now I’ll ask people to unhusk rice in the barn
It’ll sighn morning is coming
The genies run quickly

Bandung fail to give the temple
And he fail to have roro as his wife
He mad, and curse roro to stone
And he never happy since he is always alone
